Our big fixer-upper

June 26, 2009

Haven’t we all had a friend who found a fixer-upper home, saw the potential that no one else recognized, put in the sweat equity, and ended up with a charming home. Well, that’s a brief metaphor of what’s happening at Highfield Beach.

Highfield Beach has tons of potential…but it is going to take lots of work this summer.

  • Highfield Beach has over 500 feet of private Lake Michigan beach…but the beach is currently inaccessible.
  • Highfield Beach has many sites with views of Lake Michigan…but some of these sites already have homes on them which really belong in a big city suburb.
  • Higfield Beach is a great place to watch a sunset…but there are no street lights as you walk back to your home.
  • Highfield Beach is a lakefront community…but the gated entrance screams “exclusive suburb”.

So what’s happening at Highfield Beach? David C. Bos Homes is transforming Highfield Beach into a coastal cottage community. We’re planning a new beach access, we’re renovating several homes, we’re adding street lights, we’re re-landscaping the entrance…

We invite you to come see the potential at Highfield Beach and participate in the benefits of our big fixer-upper.

One final note – don’t wait too long to visit as we expect most of the transformation to be done by Fall 2009!

Welcome
